Little things to keep in mind so as to keep your cat healthy and happy

Nobody wants an unhealthy cat. We hate to be sick, and so do our cats. Here are my favorite tips for your cat healthy.

First Feed him the best food you can afford. Providing good nutrition with the right balance of nutrients keeps him healthy and able to train and play. You'll notice his coat shine ever brighter and thicker. And even better, it will save by offering healthy food on veterinary expenses.

2nd Ensure that sufficient fresh water. If your tap water is treated by the local authorities, why is not filtered or bottled water. If you drink bottled water, why should your cat. These chemicals are not good for him.

Play with him every third day. Not only is this him to practice in a fun way, it will strengthen the bond between you two. And, depending on the games you play, you might as well be a part of your daily exercise quota.

4th Groom your cat and your daily haired short haired one, two or three times a week.

While fifth care, check your cat for unusual movements of the body parts, abscesses, scratches or parasites such as fleas. The skin should be pink and healthy.

6th Make sure that no discharges from ears, eyes, nose, mouth or genital area.

7th Make your cat teeth and gums, so they are healthy, with no prospect of tartar.

8th Observe the behavior of your cat and any changes. This may be due to medical or physical problems, or it may be that your cat under stress for some reason.

Ninth, contact your veterinarian to ensure that all vaccinations and boosters are up to date.

10th If you plan to breed, make sure your cat spayed or neutered. This eliminates spraying activities.

11th Make sure you move freely and not easy to jump on your lap or on the furniture.

12th Observe your cat's age and the changes needed for the nutritional value of it. Make sure his bed is in an area that is warm in winter, cool in summer and free from drafts.

13th Make an appointment for your cat's annual check-up. Consult your doctor for a check-up every year and your cat needs it too. Most vets will do a routine at a reduced price.

14th Unless you live on a farm or even enough space for your cat outside to play safe, keep your cat inside. Make sure there are enough toys or activities to keep him from boredom. Some toys infused with catnip can provide hours of fun for the cats housebound. Make sure he gets fresh air in through a window or ventilation.
Giving your cat healthy, you both will enjoy many years of pleasure and fun. Do not forget to take pictures of your cat to adopt, they are precious memories and memories of the times that are past.
