Training Tips For Your beloved Maltese Puppy
The Maltese dog makes a very interesting pets, and it's usually fine to stay indoors the owner. Once put a Maltese puppy home, it is important that you begin the training process immediately, so you pay for it later.
Below are some common problems and how you can begin the process of instruction at a time.
Your Maltese and creeks
Creek may be a common problem Maltese puppy or anything for that matter. Here are some tips you can follow to alleviate the problem:
1st Spray down your furniture and carpets with alarms, such as bitter or cayenne pepper spray.
2nd Avoid giving your Maltese old shoes, slippers or furniture to toys that they would only turn to the newer, too. Rather than buy a dog with them toys, they will surely enjoy as much.
3rd If chewing problem persists, you may need to restrict your Maltese in a crate when you will not be home. Be sure to give him toys to chew box.
Your Maltese and bark
Aw is another common problem in Maltese. Here are some tips you can follow to reduce the aw:
1st If your Maltese bark of a stranger outside, pet and praise him to warn you of potential danger, tell her to be quiet. If he stops to immediately give him a toy or treat as a reward. Repeat the process if necessary.
2nd If barking is a problem because of separation anxiety (your loss), gradually teach them to be home without you around. You can do this by going home for short periods at first, like walking out your front door for a few minutes. And gradually increase over time. If he remains calm during this time, reward him a treat.
3rd Keep your Maltese active during the day. Play with him, take him for walks, give him lots of toys to play with and just the basic, he does. It will keep him busy and self-weary him out later for napping.
Your Maltese and potty training
While potty training can be quite the battle in the beginning, it is important that you immediately begin the process. Here are some tips you can follow:
1st Get a kennel or play pen for your puppy. Line on one side with the newspaper and the other with carpets. If your Maltese is a puppy it is hard for them to hold their potty and thus accidents happen. During the newspapers close to them and available at all times will help to reduce accidents. As they get older, they do not want to potty where they sleep. This is also where you want to keep your Maltese puppy when you are not home.
2nd If your area puppy is ready to go to your house, pick it up and take the daily fast. Reward when it is done. Repeat as much as necessary.
3rd If your Maltese has had this third set of shots, you can start potty training outside. This is easily done by moving the paper out until it is used to go out.
