How can ypu make your dog follow instructions properly on command

Leave, it is an excellent exercise for your dog to learn. It gives you control over what your dog is around or trying to take. It is a powerful tool that can help prevent a disaster! Think of all the times your dog went to chase after a squirrel, and all you could do was shout "NO" and try to drag her away. If she did leave-it "you could just tell her to do and she would! When she goes to the trash, squirrel or food you can say "Leave-It" and again she will! The following steps are how you will achieve "Leave-It".
First, your dog for you (they can be in a sit or a down too, but it is not necessary) and hold the leash. Let the dog treat in your hand, make a fist around and put it on her face. If you do, tell her "Leave-It", to repeat the treatment until they leave alone. Do not pull your hand away if she goes to treatment. You try to teach her "Leave-It" will not care or object moving away from her when you say "Leave-It". The moment she backs away and said "good" and open your hand and give her the treatment, or a treat from your other hand. Alternate which hand treatment comes from, so they will not assume that everything they are told to "Leave" will end her! Repeat until you constantly say "let" a time and they back away. When this happens, go to next step.
The second stage of the "Leave-It" is to treat between your fingers and thumb. This allows your dog to taste and smell of the problem but not getting it. Repeat the process listed above.
The third step is to treat your open palm. Do not allow your dog to the treatment, but at the same time, do not pull your hand away ... You need to have the responsibility to "leave-it". If your dog is successful, go to the last step.
The final step in "Leave It" is to be treated on the floor. Let your dog get the treatment from the floor! Always pick it up and hand it to her or another treatment! This will prevent a dog that just leaves only a few seconds and then steal it anyway.
