How to Identify Gender of your Turtle

The recognition of a sea turtle sex can be somewhat confusing, not only for the first time pet turtle owners, but for anyone who owns a turtle. It can be difficult to distinguish between male and female place if you do not know what features to look for. Before I understand the difference I suggest that if your turtle is young, you will be able to make a good decision on what sex they are as they are still under development and some late a wide pants .

So without further delay here are the signs to look for:

1) Find the differences in tail length and size

Men have a much longer and thicker tails than females and if you two slug it worth adapting them together to tell the difference. When one male and one other woman you will notice is that one has a shorter tail than looking triangle, which would imply that it is a woman. The other should be more pointed tail that would indicate that it was a male.

2) Does your turtle with long nails?

Another clear indication of your turtle is male, their nails are much longer than one wife. A woman is considerably shorter than the nail of a man. One of the main reasons for the difference for men to climb back to the females during mating.

3) Is there a dip or a stroke under the turtle?

An indentation in a turtle shell turtle would suggest that your gender is male, is another characteristic of a male turtle that is designed to give them an advantage when they mate. If you gently with your fingers down in a shell turtles can dive to a feeling, sometimes it is very obvious and it will signal that you are a male turtle farm. Females have a thinner shell in look and feel.
