What do you think does treats really work?

Some people feel that the only type of training is dealt with positively. Certainly, the most basic commands are taught with treated but not treated in fact is an effective way of correcting behavior problems or encourage compliance.
Dog Training is based on the total. Giving a treat when a dog shows negative behavior just reward, the behavior and encouraging the dog to do it again. Also, if you give your dog a pleasure as a reward for positive behavior, expect your dog will always be given treatment, if it behaves correctly, that could eventually lead to problems.
Many good reasons to avoid using treats for training:

* Treats will not help with theft. What goes in must come out.

* Some dogs are overly treats and actually more difficult to manage when food is involved excited.

* Some dogs are not food motivated at all.

* If a dog is full, he can not follow the command, for he no longer cares about the reward.

* Some dogs have food allergies.

* Did you really wear with treats to follow you around all the time to get your dog?
A better form of training is positive 'compliment' training where the dog is praised and loved, if he is what we wanted. Than expected, a doctor, he was rewarded with praise and recognition - which is what most dogs really want from their owners. Praise and recognition is something that you never run out!
