Tips on how to train your cat to sit

Cats learn to perform tricks other dogs. A cat does not want you as a dog does. Your cat is motivated by the reward it is, so you'll have to reward with a favorite treat and educate them when hungry. Teaching a cat to sit, is one of the easiest tricks to teach your cat, but it should be noted that a young cat will generally easier and quicker to learn than an older cat.

Start your training in a quiet place and select a time when you are alone with your cat, so no distractions. Your workout should last only a few minutes to prevent your cat is tired or cross. It should be a fun time for both of you. Are any of your cat's favorite treats on hand. Make sure the treats are small in size, so your cat not to be confused with his normal meal. Starts when your cat in a standing position.

Take a little treat in your hand and go to your cat. Get her attention by saying his name, keep the treat in front of your nose so that it can smell. The cat should be put on the scent of what you have.

Once your cat shows an interest in reading, move the treat over and back to a point between the ears at the same time say "sit". Hold treatment within one to two inches of the cat at all times. Your cat will naturally come down as it tries to deal with path to follow if you feel this way. When he praise your cat and give it treats.

If your cat is hungry, must sit within about 09:55 experimental, sometimes before. If that does not sit, walk and try again in a few minutes, do not give your cat the treat until it fits. Once your cat has managed to be seated, but two or three times than to end the session by saying "finish" or repeat "okay". Give your cat lots of praise to give it a normal meal.

Eventually your cat will learn to sit on command, because it knows what to do with one of his favorite treats. Be careful though, your cat is intelligent and when it teaches the relationship between sit and enjoy delicious food, it will try to work out by sitting in front of the cabinet where you keep the treats and watch your in a prudent manner.
