Why is it important to take care of a horse

The four keys to the BASIC Horsecare
There are many things to consider about your horse. These are necessary that they will have to make him happy and healthy.
1. Nutrition
a. Hay Good quality hay is required. Timothy grass or alfalfa hay or Coastal is good. Horses can eat between 15 pounds per 25 days
b. Protein-All hay is generally not enough protein, so a protein pellets is recommended. Pills are generally 12 to 16% protein.
c. Water Horse, 10 to 30 liters of water per day, depending on the climate. Make sure your horse has enough to drink, especially on hot days
d. Vitamins/Minerals- Add a good vitamin / mineral supplement to your horse feed will help him to his nutritional needs.
2. Hoof Care
Horse head is very important to him. He needs to put on shoes, even if it's just the mouth, he will have to be trimmed on a regular basis. Want to clean his feet daily with a hoof on a stone or other objects to keep from getting off.
3. Lodging
Horses love a place to breath or to provide shade in the summer. A beautiful barn or shed row type structure will suffice.
4. Motion
Horses need exercise just like we do. Riding on a regular basis will not only keeps him fit, but will help you stay fit, so get out there and have some fun and safe.
Remember, treat your horse with kindness and offer good quality and in return you get many years of happiness with him.
