Learn the art of Trimming Cat nail

Although our cats have a pretty good job of keeping their nails or claws by scratching scratching posts, trees or even our furniture, you should regularly trim their nails so they are not overgrown. And as with all things cats, the younger you use something, the easier it will be for you both.
If your cat is not used, the treatment is very stressful at the feet. Feet are very important for us all, especially cats, they need to catch prey and defend themselves. In the wild, a cat with an injured foot will not be able to hunt, climb, or defend themselves. And part of the memory of domestic cats think of it, which makes them very sensitive to having their feet touched or manipulated. I make a point of rubbing Cassie legs and holds them while they relax on my lap. This makes it much easier when I need to examine them.
If your cat is not accustomed to having his nails clipped, I would recommend your veterinarian or professional groomer to work for you. Remember, it's incredibly sharp claws and can do much damage. You do not want the relationship you have with your cat to be destroyed by doing something they consider unpleasant or scary. Cats have a good memories, and you might find your cat is still afraid of you. And do not forget your cat will be upset if it knows that it has hurt you.
While she's still young, it used to get under her nails cut by starting to gently touch his feet, one leg at a time. It's something you can do if your kitten on your lap and relax. You just have to start with a brief touch, and if the kitten starts to object to stop. Reward your kitten with a treat and a petting zoo when you stop. After a week or so, your kitten will be used this way to begin to expose nail or nails by massaging pads on their feet. Gently press is, nail by itself. Look at your fingernails to start if you're familiar with them. If they are white, tips seems to be almost transparent. When the time comes, it is the part that will be truncated. You should never cut to 'fast' to be visible with a vein and look pink. On black nails, you should assess how it is. Quickstart generally about 1/16th of an inch (2mm) from the tip of the nail. You can buy special cat nail trimmers from most pet shops. Never use nail trimmers you would use on yourself or your family.
Do you want your kitten to adjust to his exposed nails and then move to hit the tip of the nail clipper on them. Each step in this should be done slowly and get your cat look and stop if it gets upset. Do not forget to praise your cat and give the treat after each session. If you think she's ready, start with just one or two cut nails. If you are unsure, cut less and no more. You know how it feels when you break a nail to the quick. You do not want that to happen to your kitten. You have to build your skills and confidence to practice, start with one or two nails are best. When both are ready, proceed to cut one leg at a time when all four legs. Make sure you feel confident to help her pick it because your body language. If you hesitate, your kitten will be aware of this and be vigilant. Remember to only trim the top of the nail, nothing more.
Because your kitten is used to cut her nails, helps you to save your furniture and the possibility of your cat's nails curling back in pads because they are too long. If you are unsure if your kitten or objects, get a professional to do this work. This way you will not break that bond you are trying to create a reliable person and you get your kitten to be.
