What are your thoughts how often we should feed the cats?

There is no right answer to the question about how often your cat should be fed. How often do you feed your cat every day really up to you. If your cat, to a certain extent.

Kittens can be fed for free. As much as they want, whenever they want. Even if it only works with dry food. With wet food, kittens under 6 months should probably be fed three times a day. They are fast growing and requires a lot of nutrients to do it!

Free Adult Cat food is generally not a great plan. By combining indoor cats with free food virtually guarantees a weight problem.

First you must decide how much food your cat should consume in one day. Most manufacturers of cat food will include guidelines for their products, but these are just that - guides. Some foods are closer than others, and normal weight / age ratio used in these guidelines are not always correct. If unsure, establishing how much food your cat is actually needed can be more precisely determined by you and your veterinarian. Ask for their input.

Once you've decided how much food your cat will be served each day, you can map a plan that works best for you and your cat. You can earn all at once or divided into many small meals as you want. Once a day feeding is generally fine for an adult cat if that works best for you and them. But some cats are Graz, prefer lighter meals more often, and it may be necessary to do something about.
