Saddle cleaning tips

Both Western and English saddle pads should be cleaned regularly to keep them optimally. Your horse will appreciate it and you will be amazed how easy it is to keep them clean, if you do it regularly.
English saddle pads can be easily washed in a washing machine. Always use a cold water cycle and mild detergent. Never use fabric softener! Tumble dry at low temperature, again without the dryer sheets, because it will smooth pads.
Be sure to read the manufacturer's instructions before you throw in a washing machine if they do not recommend.
