Persian
Since the CFA is keeping cat breeds in 1871, the Persian is the most popular breed. This big cat is generally calm, easy to handle and quiet in a loving nature. Grooming is usually a chore for the Persian owners because of their thick fur breed.
Maine Coon
Like the Persians, Maine Coons have a long stay at the top of the list of most popular breed. Maine Coons are very active, making them perfect for their original purpose of hunting mice and rats.
Exotic Shorthair
Exotic Shorthair Persians in principle with shorter hair. Like the Persians, Exotic Shorthairs have a quiet, sweet temperament, but they have only twice a week brushing.
Siamese
This breed is extremely active and unique vocals. Siamese cats often "talk" to their owners, and may become frustrated if they are ignored.
