Tips on retrieving lost homing piegons

What do you do when a pigeon will not make it home after the race? Here are 4 questions to be answered:
1) How long does a bird do not have enough until someone found it? This will give you some idea of the state bird. If it was lost for some time, chances are it is sick or injured.
2) How far from home was found, when a pigeon? If you leave, you should go and get a bird. This will allow the detector know that the pigeon lovers care for pigeons. Be prepared to make a bird in poor condition, however. If you're almost home, but not all points of view, it is probably the problem.
3) Does the sensor just to get a bird, or do we have to catch it? Not so easy to catch a healthy pigeon. If the scanner took only until the bird can be damaged.
4) How much does find really know pigeon? If the detector does not know much about pigeons, and just took it, thinking it was probably pet bird. Many people do not know, healthy pigeons will fly away and let him catch it.
Some other considerations length of the race, how many years had a dove and as far away from home. Never tell the probe to the bird. It makes you look like you do not care for the bird. Or go and get a bird or say that finding may be the last. If you can not keep, to find another upper deck in the area, and let them get it. That would give him a new house or work out a way to contact you.
Remember, the main thing is that this is your bird. You can put it out of the race, and it is your duty to take care of it.
