It is really important to understand Dog's nature

If many different breeds of dogs to look around the world, you realize that a dog can understand nature surprisingly complex. The American Kennel Club currently recognizes about 150 breeds, although depending on the criteria used, a series of numbers, an estimate of over 600 races.
Although dogs claim as their ancestral wolf can, dogs with people for more than 10,000 years, interact through a process of domestication. Some dog behaviors can be understood, they return to their ancestors by Wolf tracking, while other features have come about as a result of their interaction with people.
Dogs are predators.
Dogs have an innate desire to chase and status, although not necessarily decide any other animals (including rats and cats) to attack. You certainly have the ability, as you examine their superior hearing and eyesight. For example, while the human eye is only about 100 to 150 degrees, a dog has a range of about 180 to 270 degrees.
Of course, dogs have a highly superior sense of smell as well, since they have 25 times more receptor cells in the nose.
Consider, for example the Golden Retriever. It can detect, Gopher who hid under 2 feet of snow on top of a foot of frozen earth. The Golden often dig through the snow, he can be reached at the animals. This is a perfect example of the behavior of a dog as a predator.
Dogs are social.
(Or should know) the most of us know about dogs. They are social animals that need regular contact with people because they are part of the package to be felt. However, many dogs all day long left alone in a cage or tied in the backyard all day. The animal is isolated from people and has a very limited movement.
A dog trainer may want to isolate short man's status as alpha dog in the pack to say, but this isolation should be used sparingly and only for a short time. Otherwise the dog will develop unwanted behaviors such as aggression, fear or destruction of property.
Exploration
Any future owner of the dog must understand that dogs have a strong tendency to explore their environment, and this can lead to destruction of property if the owner does not care for education. Think you might see at the dog as a toddler, things in the house, but not (and is not aware of) to break the sentimental value of the property or danger to themselves as the product.
A degree of exploration is, of course, and you will probably see your dog digs from time to time in the garden. However, this behavior can be restricted by a fence of your garden, to protect them against the dog, or a kind of preparation, such as cayenne pepper to keep his legs.
