Did you know that Colitis in Dogs have many differbt ways

Colitis in dogs have many different ways and can be acute, chronic, or if severe enough, can develop episodic episodes. Although it is not an immediate threat to your dog's life, it can be over time a significant obstacle to a normal and healthy life. It is also quite common in all dogs, especially young dogs at least once in their lives. But if this continues and it is not treated, your dog can never live a normal life again. It is also one of the most challenging conditions your dog will ever face as most all cases the exact cause could not be identified.
What is colitis?
Colitis in dogs is an inflammation of the colon or large intestine of your pet. It is often confused with IBD or irritable bowel disease, which is a collection of some specific disorders are quite similar in nature. If all forms of colitis comes along, your dog now has a full-blown cases of IBD. But, separately considered colitis.
What makes this situation so difficult to really identify and treat, is that it is acute, chronic, or even a situation that could be very serious. Most dogs have minor bouts of ulcerative and displayed no serious symptoms or health problems unless it becomes chronic or worse yet, a part of the whole picture. Symptoms:

Different types:
Colitis in dogs have several different ways and can vary from very mild to very severe and threatening. The first form is called lymphocytic-plasmacytic colitis and is considered one of the most common cause of inflammatory bowel disease in dogs that are combined with other conditions. The real cause is not yet known, but there are some opinions that it is the result of an overreaction by your dog's immune system.
The next form of colitis is defined as histolytic ulcerative colitis, and it is very breed specific. It is common in boxers, especially young boxers, and is characterized by both ulcer and inflammation of the colon. The sores associated with this type of disease is usually very deep in the colon wall, and as such is called deep wounds. But like all cases of colitis, there is no real known reason why it happens.
The third form of the disease called granulomatous colitis, and is considered very rare. But if it does not, it is very serious, and resembles what is called Crohn's disease in men. With this form there are certain types of inflammatory cells into attacking your dog colon. It is also considered to be the least understood of the four forms.
The final form of colitis in dogs is called Eosinophilic colitis, and is a type of white blood cells in an allergic reaction or some sort of parasite. Although like all other forms of this very difficult situation, there is no known cause, but it is very common that this form is the result of a food allergy or parasite infection.
Reason:
Colitis in dogs is not a known single cause, but rather a whole litany of possible reasons that your pet is inflaming the colon. The first potential range is thought to be caused by bacterial infection. These include clostridia, Salmonella or E coli, or viral infections such as parvo or corona virus. Parasitic infection caused by worms or whip worms, hook is also believed to trigger this inflammation.
Dietary intolerance, especially of an allergic reaction to certain foods such as protein-rich foods may also cause this reaction, as well as lactose intolerance.
