To bring a new member of the family, whether it be another cat companion or a child to understand how that will affect your cat, jealous tendencies to curb. If a cat privileges, attention, or normal daily lives have changed or influenced by someone or something new, a cat is likely to be jealous or territorial. One important thing to remember when trying to minimize your blind cat to make sure that your cat will still have the necessary attention they normally receive.
Signs that your cat is jealous can sometimes be very clear. Hissing, growling, or murder by the arrival of the newcomers are a few examples. A more reserved or hiding cat will eat, or seem extra needy, to your feet and constantly demands your attention. Regardless, making it even more remarkable that you are the owner that something is missing in their normal work and they do not like it.
An example of a sign that your cat will be forwarded as they are jealous of your new bundle of joy is that the new nursery furniture and baby toys spraying their power to explain the new acquisition. Use baby lotion and play sounds of crying babies will help your pet prepare for the new sounds and smells that will be around when the baby comes home.
Bringing a new cat can really rub your cat the wrong way if you allow them to come in and take their usual places, or share them make their own toys. A gradual control interaction is very important with the introduction of the new with the already established cat. Do not let the new cat to take over the resident cat's favorite things.
Cats see something to your attention to whether the love of them as a rival. A sudden withdrawal of petting and praise or a change of contact is cause for concern and reasons for your cat to be jealous.
A cat thrives on the love and attention they get from their owner. Jealousy stems from insecurity and a lack of confidence that they still loved. Cats are naturally jealous that they are territorial. Is that your cat is a part of your family, give them the same respect, trust and time you want to adjust themselves to adapt to these changes.
